We entertain, we encourage, verily we solicit reciprocal links
with contextually related sites. Mutual linking is an excellent
way to boost a site's cred with the search engines; and as John F
Kennedy observed, a rising tide lifts all ships.
However, we permit inbound linking only from RELEVANT
websites. I won't give a crisp definition of which sites are relevant
and which are not except to say I recognize it when I see it. The sorts of sites
I consider relevant are other literary sites, directories, authors' sites,
discussion groups, literary weblogs, etc.
Site that are NOT relevant include link farms, get-rich-quick
schemes, multi-level marketing, non-specific directories, etc. Requests
for linking from such sites will be declined.
